Park Inn and Suites Vancouver Broadway

We have reserved a hotel block at the Park Inn and Suites Vancouver Broadway from Thurs July 24th-Sun July 27th. The Park Inn and Suites is within walking distance of the reception site. Single or double occupancy is allowed in standard rooms with 2 double beds ($139.00/night), deluxe rooms with views ($149.00/night), King non-view rooms ($149.00/night), or King view rooms ($159.00/night). There is a $20 charge for each additional person/cot per room and up to 5 guests can stay in the room. To reserve a room, please call the hotel at 604-872-8661, requesting the “Chan and Barrett wedding block” to make your reservation any time before Mon Jun 9, 2014. Wedding block reservations can also be made by emailing reservations@parkinn-vancouver.ca. In the email please list the room type of your choice, departure and arrival dates, number of guests in the room, guests' names and credit card information.

Shaughnessy Village (APTliving)

For guests looking for a more affordable option, we recommend the Shaugnessy Village, a basic but clean and comfortable bed and breakfast, also within walking distance of the reception site. This hotel has all the basic amenities, and the 1 BR studios go for $85/night and the 2 BR suites cost about $117/night and can accommodate up to four people. Unfortunately, this hotel did not allow us to book a wedding block so we recommend calling them early (604-736-5511) to reserve a room as they fill up quickly in the summer.

Other recommended hotels:

Sandman Hotel

The Sandman Hotel Vancouver City Centre on Cambie Street has easy bus transportation to both wedding and reception sites.

The Kingston Hotel Bed and Breakfast

This hotel is also relatively near the wedding sites. Rates should be comparable to the Shaughnessy Village lodgings. For those who have a car, more affordable hotels may be found in Richmond, near the Vancouver International Airport. Please contact us if you have questions or problems finding affordable lodging.
